Did You Suffer Losses Investing in O-I Glass (OI)?

On October 29, 2026, a securities class action complaint was filed against O-I Glass, Inc. (“O-I Glass” or the “Company”) (NYSE: OI) and certain Company executives in United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

The class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired O-I Glass common stock between March 14, 2025, and July 28, 2026, inclusive (the “Class Period”).

What Does the O-I Glass Class Action Allege?

According to the complaint, O-I Glass and certain executives made materially false or misleading statements concerning the Company’s Fit to Win program, 2026 financial outlook, and European operations. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the Company 1) experienced delays in achieving targeted cost savings under Fit to Win; 2) faced higher-than-expected plant closure and restructuring expenses and operational disruptions that offset program benefits; and 3) faced continuing competitive and energy-cost pressures in Europe that affected its financial outlook and 2027 targets.

After the market closed on July 28, 2026, O-I Glass announced second-quarter 2026 results, reduced its 2026 adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow guidance, and realigned its 2027 Investor Day financial targets. The Company reported Europe segment operating profit of $6 million, citing competitive pricing pressure, elevated energy costs, and temporary operational disruption following major restructuring actions.

Following the July 28, 2026 disclosures, O-I Glass common stock fell $1.36 per share, or approximately 15%, from $9.06 on July 28 to $7.70 on July 29, 2026.

December 28, 2026 Lead Plaintiff Deadline

O-I Glass investors have until December 28, 2026 to move the Court to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. Investors do not need to seek appointment as lead plaintiff to remain a member of the proposed class.
