With over twenty-five years in private practice, John has played pivotal roles in prosecuting groundbreaking securities and financial fraud cases in federal and state courts. His efforts have resulted in combined settlements exceeding $8 billion, along with meaningful corporate governance reforms, benefiting institutional and individual investors alike.

John’s noteworthy achievements include roles as lead or co-lead counsel in significant cases such as In re Petrobras Securities Litigation ($3 billion settlement), In re Bank of America Corporation Securities Litigation ($2.4 billion settlement), In re Citigroup Inc. Bond Litigation ($730 million settlement), In re Wachovia Preferred Securities and Bond/Notes Litigation ($627 million settlement), In re Lehman Brothers Securities and ERISA Litigation ($616 million settlement), In re Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation ($586 million settlement resolving 309 consolidated actions), and In re Marvell Technology Group Ltd. Securities Litigation ($72 million settlement), among others.

Before co-founding Kehoe Law Firm in 2015, John honed his advocacy skills in various prominent positions, including six years as a partner with Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP, two as a partner with Girard Gibbs LLP, and a six-year association with Clifford Chance LLP, a globally recognized London-based law firm, where John defended Fortune 500 companies in complex securities and antitrust civil litigation or enforcement actions brought by the DOJ, SEC, and the FTC.

John’s commitment to continuing legal education is demonstrated through his volunteer role as a program faculty member with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, teaching multiple advanced deposition skills programs to practicing attorneys.  John continued his teaching skills as an adjunct faculty member with the Trial Advocacy Training Program at the Louisiana State University School of Law, a then mandatory summer trial skills program for all LSU third-year law students.

Admitted to practice in New York and Pennsylvania, John is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  John earned his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law where he was associate editor of the Syracuse Law Review, alternate member of the school’s National Appellate Team, and member of the Syracuse Moot Court Board. John also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University, where he was a starting player on DePaul’s Division 1 soccer team and an exchange student at the Karl Marx University in Budapest, Hungary.  

Before becoming a lawyer, John graduated from the Vermont Police Academy and served eight years as a full-time law enforcement officer, including as a member of the tactical “Special Reaction Team” and member of the “Major Accident Investigation Team.”  John also received advanced police training from the Institute of Police Technology and Management, in Jacksonville, Florida.

With over three decades of professional experience, Michael brings a wealth of expertise to the legal arena, with a focus on navigating intricate securities fraud class actions within federal courts. His practice has centered on advocating for both prominent institutional clients and individual shareholders, often assuming lead or co-lead counsel roles in high-profile cases that have collectively resulted in settlements amounting to billions of dollars.

Among the notable highlights of his career are landmark cases such as the Tyco International Ltd. settlement, securing an unprecedented $3.2 billion resolution, including the largest securities class-action recovery from a single corporate entity at the time. Similarly, his involvement in the Delphi Corporation case led to a $300 million class-action settlement against the automotive giant, despite complications stemming from bankruptcy proceedings.

In the CVS Corporation matter, Michael successfully orchestrated a $110 million recovery on behalf of aggrieved shareholders, marking one of the largest settlements in securities class-action history within the First Circuit. Additionally, his role in the MDL Mutual Fund Litigation resulted in significant recoveries exceeding $80 million against several mutual fund companies.

Michael’s dedication to seeking justice is further evidenced in his involvement in cases such as the United Development Funding IV litigation, where his firm’s efforts led to a $13.5 million settlement benefiting investors. Similarly, his contributions to the Viega Antitrust Litigation culminated in a $15 million settlement favoring damaged purchasers, underscoring his commitment to upholding fair competition practices.

Before joining Kehoe Law Firm, Michael held a senior-level partner position at a leading plaintiff’s class-action firm, where he honed his skills in various legal matters, including litigating against major mortgage lenders for violations of pertinent legislation and handling patent infringement and appellate cases across multiple Circuit Courts of Appeal.  In addition, Michael has litigated numerous consumer cases, including data breach/security, automotive, and no-poach.

Michael is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, as well as in several Courts of Appeal. He earned his juris doctorate from Delaware Law School in 1991 and completed his undergraduate studies at George Washington University in 1988, where he also gained valuable political experience as an intern for the late Senator John Heinz of Pennsylvania.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael cherishes time spent with his spouse and two children. He is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys traveling. Notably, he dedicates his free time to volunteering with his family at Northern Children Services, supporting at-risk youth in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

David, a Certified Fraud Examiner (“CFE”) with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (“ACFE”), is a distinguished professional with a wealth of investigative experience spanning over three decades. Leveraging his experience gleaned from a successful, broad-based career as an FBI Special Agent, including service as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge of a major FBI Field Office, David has honed his skills in identifying and detecting fraud to support class action prosections.

David’s expertise extends to developing and implementing comprehensive investigative protocols that support complex civil investigations, due diligence, background checks, conflict of interest assessments, character and suitability investigations, witness development, and effective collection, preservation, and analysis of evidence.

Before joining Kehoe Law Firm, P.C. (“KLF”), David held the prestigious position as the first Director of Investigative Services at Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP (“KTMC”), one of the nation’s premier class-action law firms. In this capacity, he was the principal architects behind KTMC’s Investigative Services Department, overseeing a dedicated team of professionals conducting investigations related to deceit, misrepresentation, and fraudulent activity. His strategic leadership significantly impacted the recovery of billions of dollars for shareholders and investors globally.

In his current role as KLF’s Director of Investigative Services & Litigation Support, David plays a pivotal role in class-action investigations. His strategic leadership ensures that KLF litigates from a position of strength, with a focus on corporate governance. He brings a deep understanding of director independence, auditing and financial reporting practices, and disclosure practices to the table.

David’s proficiency encompasses a broad spectrum, including fact-based and expert witnesses, defendants, and deponents. He has navigated the intricacies of client and plaintiff legal adequacy evaluations, addressing the needs of both individual and institutional clients. His investigations have delved into the backgrounds of individuals, as well as domestic and international business entities.

David’s investigative prowess extends to public and private company organizational structures, beneficial ownership assessments, and control information. Moreover, he is well-versed in the service of legal process and e-Discovery, providing invaluable support to legal proceedings.

Beyond these accomplishments, David, a Certified Forensic Interviewer (“CFI”) with the International Association of Interviewers (“IAI”), has garnered significant experience in witness/suspect/subject interviews, cybercrime investigations, and money laundering inquiries. His comprehensive knowledge extends to corporate compliance programs and information privacy practices, laws, and regulations.

Recognized for his outstanding contributions, David is a past recipient of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys Director’s Award for Outstanding Contributions in Law Enforcement. Holding an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, David stands as a seasoned professional, contributing significantly to the field of investigative services and litigation support.

Kevin brings over two decades of invaluable experience as an institutional liaison with national securities litigation firms to our team. His expertise lies in advising and supporting Public Pension and Taft-Hartley Funds, safeguarding their pension investments and health and welfare plans. Kevin also plays a pivotal role in managing our firm’s client outreach and developmental programs, as well as overseeing the portfolio monitoring program services provided to our institutional clients.

A proud graduate of Temple University, Kevin’s background in the securities litigation industry is underscored by his having held the Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses issued by the National Association of Securities Dealers (now the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).  Beyond his academic and professional accomplishments, Kevin has enriched his skill set through participation in the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Executive Education Program and as a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Citizens Academy.

Kevin’s commitment to community service is evident through his involvement with the Philadelphia Committee of the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation and his steadfast support for the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation. He is also an active member of The Pennsylvania Future Fund, A.O.H. Division 88 “Officer Danny Boyle Chapter,” The Clover Club of Philadelphia, and The Foreign Policy Research Institute.

In addition to his professional and philanthropic endeavors, Kevin has a passion for rowing, where he has achieved championship success as both an athlete and coach at the high school and college levels and Boathouse Row.  As an elected member of The Pennsylvania Society and The Union League of Philadelphia, where he has served on the Armed Services Committee, thereby further enriching our community and organization.

Bob held the prestigious role of President at the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems (NCPERS) from May 2004 to May 2008, marking a significant chapter in his extensive involvement representing the interests of public pension funds.  In 1995, Bob began serving on as a dedicated trustee on NCPERS Board, contributing his expertise to various committees, such as Investment, Membership, and Resolutions.

In addition to his national contributions, Bob’s leadership extends to the local level as the past First Vice President of Chicago’s Fraternal Order of Police (“FOP”) Lodge #7. His impact is evident through the chairing of numerous committees, demonstrating a commitment to the community. Notably, Bob also currently serves as a director of the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association.

Bob’s impressive career also spans over 33 years as a Chicago Police Officer, where he played a pivotal role in securing collective bargaining rights for his fellow officers and has been actively involved in addressing diverse medical and health-related issues impacting the well-being of Chicago police officers.
