Did You Suffer Financial Losses Investing in Alphabet (GOOG)?

A securities class action has been filed on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Alphabet Inc. (“Alphabet” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: GOOG) securities between May 19, 2026 and July 16, 2026, inclusive (the “Class Period”).

The action, Stuart v. Alphabet Inc., et al., Case No. 3:26-cv-11290, was filed on October 2, 2026 in United States District Court, Northern District of California. The complaint asserts claims under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

What Does the Alphabet Securities Class Action Allege?

Throughout the Class Period, Defendants, according to the complaint, made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects.

Defendants allegedly failed to disclose to investors that 1) the Gemini 3.5 Pro was delivering disappointing training results; 2) as a result, the launch of Gemini 3.5 Pro would be significantly delayed; and 3) consequently, Defendants’ positive statements about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.

December 1, 2026 Lead Plaintiff Deadline

Investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Alphabet securities during the Class Period have until December 1, 2026 to move the Court to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. Investors do not need to seek appointment as lead plaintiff to remain a member of the proposed class.
