Allegedly, the Plaintiff, beginning on February 28, 2018, began receiving unsolicited, promotional-type text messages to his cellular telephone from Gold’s Gym, despite Plaintiff’s lack of consent or prior relationship with the gym. The class action seeks, among other things, statutory damages and injunctive relief. The complaint was filed in U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey (2:18-cv-03955).
